McKenzie took the stage to collect an award of merit in photography during the Washington State PTA convention May 4 in Bellevue. Her photo of the rides at the Puyallup Fair was displayed in the lobby before the awards ceremony and up on the big screens during the presentation

The Force was strong with Mitchell after he was asked to share his Galactic Heroes collection at the Puyallup Public Library to help celebrate Star Wars Day.
